Welcome to our parish! Whether you are new to the area, have been regularly attending Mass already or are coming back after a long hiatus, know you are always welcome here. Becoming a parishioner has many benefits and we highly recommend you do. Firstly, establishing yourself in a parish is the only way that we can write letters of good standing which are required to be a Godparent or Sponsor. Those letters are written by the clergy and state that a) you are Catholic and b) you are practicing the Faith, and the only way the clergy can know that is if you participate. Fr. Keith, Fr. Ariel, our deacons and the parish office staff are always available to you, however we are a big parish and only have some many hours in a day, so we can serve you better when we know who you are! Secondly, we require regular participation in the life of the parish for a few months before scheduling any Sacrament. Lastly, when you register you will receive a tax statement for your charitable donations.
If you have questions about becoming a parishioner, we ask that you please contact the Parish Office at (908)735-7319 or via email at [email protected].
Before considering our parish, we want you to know that you should reside within the parish boundaries of Immaculate Conception Church. If you do not, but would still like to join, you will receive a call from our parish office to notify you that a Letter of Release or a phone call from the parish must be obtained, even if you are not registered in your local parish. This is a reciprocal courtesy between parishes. The reason we do this is because the parishes and priests assigned to them have a responsibility to provide pastoral care to those within their boundaries and when those boundaries are stretched someone is typically not getting care because of it.
You can review our registration form so that you will have all of the necessary pieces of information when you are ready to register or you can fill out the online registration right now in the gray section below.
